Summer is the most popular time to visit Jackson Hole. Average high temperatures in the high 70s and low 80s and fairly low precipitation levels make for ideal hiking, biking and rafting conditions. Plus, both Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park are fully open, offering great daytrip opportunities.

Located just north of Jackson, Wyoming, Grand Teton has a diverse and long-standing history that includes human use from more than 11,000 years ago. Nomadic groups, Indigenous tribes, early explorers and settlers once called this national park home. Today, you can explore the park’s extensive history and culture through ranger-led programs, visitor centers and historical points of interest like Mormon Row and the Moulton Barns. Mormon Row, formerly known as the town of Grovont, was settled in the late 1890s by settlers from the Salt Lake region. It now stands as a famous tourist attraction with beautiful barns and buildings built in the late 1800s with a stunning backdrop of the Grand Teton peaks.

The hike to Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point is one of the most popular outings in Grand Teton National Park. The journey starts with a boat ride across beautiful Jenny Lake, accompanied by great views of the high peaks towering above the west side of the lake. In short order the trail ascends to Hidden Falls, a thundering cascade dropping 200-ft. down a series of rocky ledges, and then climbs to Inspiration Point with fine views of the lake and the Gros Ventre Mountains to the east.
Cafe Genevieve will lure you in with its cozy, welcoming ambiance and in the summer, the outdoor dining is fantastic. We have been named as “Fit for Foodies”, “Neighborhood Gem”, and “Best Service” via OpenTable diners; and received an Award of Excellence from TripAdvisor year after year. We aim to please by serving breakfast every day until 3 p.m. featuring a full bar and specialty Brunch cocktails. Following your entrance into Yellowstone National Park, make your way to one of the most famous sights in the entire park - Old Faithful Geyser. Named for its frequent and somewhat predictable eruptions, which number more than a million since Yellowstone became the world’s first national park in 1872, Old Faithful is quite a sight. Expelling upwards of 8,000 gallons of water upon eruptions that take place every 60-110 minutes, there's a reason this is one of the most famous stops in the park.

The Grand Prismatic Spring is the largest hot spring in the United States. The vibrant colors are the result of microbial life along the edges of the hot spring. The colors can change depending upon the presence of different microbes and the temperature of the water. For a jaw-dropping view of the Grand Prismatic Spring, don’t miss the view from the overlook, just a short hike from the parking lot.
