Morning

Afternoon

  • Descend into the Canyon (Optional)


For a more strenuous adventure, consider a hike down one of the canyon trails. The well-maintained Bright Angel Trail, the South Kaibab Trail, and the Grandview Trail offer switchbacks that lead you deeper into the canyon. Be sure to factor in the time and effort required for the hike back up, especially during the hot summer months. Always bring plenty of water and wear appropriate footwear.
