Approximate drive time from the hotel to the Glacier Institute is about 20 minutes.

In the morning, embark on a breathtaking journey through Glacier National Park, starting with a visit to a lake. Day 3: Half-Day White Water Rafting

On your last day in Whitefish, embark on a wild and scenic white water rafting trip.

Your two-to-three-hour journey on the Middle Fork of the Flathead River begins with a mellow float to take in the history and views of this incredible area. Then, enter a beautiful canyon with small rapids and deep clear water pools as the excitement begins to rise. Keep an eye out for wildlife and westslope cutthroat trout swimming by as you and your guide navigate the rapids. This trip is chock-full of good times. On warm days, many rafters also take the opportunity to take a refreshing dip in the river along the way.
