With average daytime temperatures ranging from the mid-70s to low 80s Fahrenheit, you can expect comfortable, warm conditions. However, it's important to note that December is part of Maui's rainy season, so occasional showers can be expected, especially in the lush, windward areas like Hana. Nevertheless, these brief rain showers usually pass quickly, allowing plenty of opportunities to enjoy the island's stunning beaches, scenic hikes, and outdoor activities.

Maui, known also as “The Valley Isle”, because of the lush landscape between its two volcanoes, is the second largest Hawaiian island. Go ahead and live like a local at these two very cool spots. Secret Cove is a really beautiful, hidden little pocket of sand that's actually not so secret anymore. However, if you get there bright and early in the morning, before anyone else has had a chance to leave fresh footprints in the sand, it will FEEL secret... if only for a little while!
After some nice photos, head to a large beach for some fun in the sun, body surfing, and finishing up those tan lines!
