The temperatures range from pleasant to hot, with average highs around 31°C (88°F) in Bangkok and coastal areas. Northern regions, such as Chiang Mai, tend to be slightly cooler with average highs of around 34°C (93°F). It is generally a dry month with minimal rainfall, providing ample opportunities for outdoor activities and exploring the country's beautiful beaches and cultural sites. However, it's always a good idea to check the specific weather forecast for the region you plan to visit, as conditions can vary.

Holders of US passports are among those not required to obtain a visa when entering Thailand for tourism purposes and will be permitted to stay in Thailand for a period not exceeding 45 days on each visit.

Today, you’ll discover some of Bangkok’s most magnificent sights utilizing various forms of public transport. You’ll begin appropriately at the City Pillar Shrine, the very first construction by King Rama I when he established Siam’s new capital of Bangkok.

We’ll give the crowded Grand Palace a miss, but walk around the outer walls to discover neighboring Wat Pho and the Reclining Buddha. You’ll then explore Bangkok’s oldest market, Tha Tien Market where all the Palace needs were brought from up and down the river.

This is a great place to try some local snack specialties. A short ferry ride across the river will bring you to one of Bangkok’s most recognisable landmarks, Wat Arun or Temple of Dawn.

Today drive to Khao Yai. While the drive is around 3 hours, we will make a day out of it, taking the scenic route that cuts right through the National Park where access to the park's natural gems is easily arranged.

The Nature Preserve is home to many waterfalls and other natural gems, though it's richest possession is the diversity of wildlife and flora living within. Bears, gibbons, elephants, hornbills, endangered species of reptiles, and many more animals call this vast landscape home. Khao Yai is no doubt Thailand's most popular National Park and for good reason. Today's adventure in Khao Yai is a kind of "best of the best", "play the hits", of Khao Yai National Park's interior.

Start by ascending Doi Suthep, a 1,676 meter (5,499 ft) mountain overlooking the city of Chiang Mai. It is an important and revered site with an intriguing legend and a perfect vantage point to plan the day’s adventure through the ancient city below.

On the way back to town, stop off at Wat Umong, a 700 year-old temple set in tranquil shaded woods, famous for the tunnels below its large chedi.
Next, stop off at one of our favorite local restaurants to indulge in some northern culinary specialties before visiting Wiang Kum Kam, a historic settlement along the Ping River which predates the city of Chiang Mai.

This is a flexible touring experience, meaning you can explore as much or as little as you like—your wish is our command! There is a waterfall on the way up to Doi Suthep. Just a short walk from the main road to visit.

As dusk begins to settle, we’ll take you on a unique adventure exploring a large swath of Chiang Mai’s evening attractions. The fun and quickest way is as a passenger in a Tuk Tuk! Your driver will skilfully pick the best routes while your host fills you in on the many intricacies of this vibrant town.

The excursion will begin with a tuk tuk ride to the heart of the old town, where your host will provide an introduction to Chiang Mai’s fascinating history nearby the iconic Three Kings Monument or at the stunning Wat Chedi Luang. Hop back into the tuk tuk and cruise through the old town before stopping off at a popular local food market.

If you’re feeling adventurous, don’t be shy to try some of the local delicacies here. The tuk tuk will be waiting to take us to a local fresh market. Fruits, vegetables, and all sorts of knick knacks make this a real backdoor experience of what goes down after sunset in Chiang Mai. Crown the tuk tuk adventure with pleasant views of the Ping River at night before heading to dinner at a recommended restaurant or one of the city’s night markets or walking streets.

The home you will be visiting belongs to a family, who arrived in the area possibly by elephant back almost 150 years ago. The family continues traditions of many generations in building their homes of teak wood and maintaining the natural surroundings in a manner now rarely seen in Chiangmai.

You will experience a simple way of life including the family orchard with many types of fruit such as banana, mango, coconut, whilst the garden is filled with herbs for cooking. You will also have the opportunity to join in the cooking for your meal, escorted by the local family. Your evening meal will be served on the second floor terrace of the home, from where you will enjoy a panoramic view of this village.

The tour is designed to give you a real experience and understanding of the local life, traditions and buildings, the relationship between their religions and ancestors and the way this all works together with nature.
