Experience the sights, smells, and tastes of Thailand.
Widely considered as the gateway to Southeast Asia, Thailand has been captivating outsiders for centuries. Cosmopolitan Bangkok is where most journeys begin, but head north to savor the country’s culinary center or south to islands that can only be described as ethereal. Regardless of where you visit, visitors never fail to be dazzled by Thailand’s masterpiece temples, fragrant cuisine, vibrant nightlife, and sprawling outdoor markets.
Within a country that’s known for its culture and cuisine, Chiang Mai makes a strong case for the top spot in both areas. A defensive moat still encircles the Old City, along with the countless temples, restaurants, and markets squeezed inside of it. Venture outside of the city limits and Chiang Mai is surrounded by national parks on nearly every side, along with plenty of mountaintop temples and elephant sanctuaries to visit.
Tamarind Village is a unique and charming Lanna-style boutique property surrounded by ancient temples and quaint shopping streets. Intimate, serene, and relaxing, Tamarind Village is an oasis of calm and tranquility, a perfect base for exploring Chiang Mai and beyond.
Elephant Nature Park
The park is the proud home to elephants of all ages. You will hear the personal stories of the rescued and orphaned elephants that you meet, learning how they became free from abuse and are free to socialize, play, and toss dirt on their backs as they please. Take part in feeding fruit to these magnificent creatures before enjoying your own vegetarian buffet meal.
Travel Greener
Your visit to Elephant Nature Park helps support the program’s regional projects and offers an invaluable opportunity to help elephant conservation.
Trekking and Rafting in Mae Wong National Park
Spend an active day with your guide and driver, immersed in nature outside of the city. After an adventurous morning hike, you’ll welcome a refreshing dip underneath a waterfall accompanied by a picnic lunch. Afterward, round the day off with some bamboo rafting. Enjoy the shady scenery of rich forests slipping past on both sides as you raft down the river.
Chiang Mai Night Bazaar
At night, take a walk or short tuk-tuk ride to the famous Chiang Mai Night Bazaar. This is a sprawling assortment of food stalls, souvenir stands, and restaurants. There are also stands for foot massages (both by humans and fish).
These days are yours to lounge by the pool, walk on the beach, or indulge in spa treatments. Additional activities we can arrange include Ngorn Nak Mountain Trekking, a Thai Cooking Class, Rock Climbing at Railay Beach, scuba diving, snorkeling, and local long tail boat or speedboat trips.
Tubkaak literally means "home for visitors." The beach faces the stunning archipelago of 13 islands that rise dramatically from the calm Andaman Sea. Backed by the mighty Hang Nak Mountain, the unseen stretch of gorgeous beach and fertile landscape has all the right ingredients for a relaxing hideaway.
At first glance, Bangkok seems like a city of mismatches. Modern skyscrapers loom over centuries-old temples and street vendors serve up spicy noodles across from Michelin-star restaurants, but it’s exactly these incongruencies that give Bangkok its universal appeal, luring everyone from student backpackers to elite travelers. Once you’ve acclimated to the heat—both in the air and on your plate—you won’t be able to get enough of the city’s piquant energy.
It’s not easy finding a quiet oasis in a metropolis like Bangkok, but the spacious rooms and intimate garden give guests a sense of being far removed from the cacophony of the city. Despite the secluded ambiance, Ariyasom Villa is centrally located and easily connected to Bangkok’s most important temples, museums, and downtown.
