Phuket

Phuket is a sublime paradise. It may be the country’s second most visited destination after Bangkok, but as the biggest Thai island, there’s always a quiet beach to be found, including on nearby smaller islands in the Andaman Sea. Find your ideal mix of beach parties and relaxation, but don’t overlook the local food scene; Phuket was even recognized by UNESCO for its gastronomy.
