At the heart of this experience, an exclusive and intimate olfactory workshop is offered. This mini-workshop has been designed to introduce participants to the subtleties of perfume creation. Allow yourself to be transported into an olfactory escape and embark on a journey to discover the finest fragrant materials from the perfumer’s organ and the major olfactory families, at the core of olfaction and perfumed creation.
The workshops begin with the presentation and selection of raw materials, crucial elements of any fragrance. You will exercise your sense of smell in a blind test, discovering the scenset and extraction methods of both natural and synthetic raw materials. Participants then explore the different olfactory families, learning how they interlock and function together, and become acquainted with the olfactory pyramid, a structured representation of fragrance notes and their evolution over time.
