Capital city Lisbon gives a good idea of Portugal’s overall weather, and has an average high of 28ºC in July. This drops to 18ºC at night, so evenings are lovely and pleasant. The sea temperature’s 19ºC, while humidity’s low.

All passengers are authorized to enter national territory, regardless of their scenset or purpose of travel.

Once you arrive in Porto, collect your bags and head outside to grab a taxi to the train station.

Upon arrival, take the train from Lisbon to Porto from Oriente Station.

The high-speed train takes around 2hrs 45mins, arriving in Porto in the early evening.

Vegetarian options includes an amazing vegetable and grain curry, or mushroom risotto but the restaurant may be able to accommodate another request if you'd like - let us know so we can tell the kitchen.

Some great bars to check out in Porto are:

• The Royal Cocktail Club for when you’re looking for sophistication. Set in a former bankers’ union building, furnished with velvety seating and with wood and metallic accents, it’s the perfect place for a date night when you’re trying to impress with top-quality pours.
  
• Enoteca 1756 is primarily a restaurant, but arrive at sunset and it's a great place for cocktails.
  
• Capela Incomum is unique! From the outside, it’s a 19th-century chapel – head within and among the original altar and ornate carvings, you’ll find one of Porto’s most unique and atmospheric bars. Sit back for one of the regular poetry or fado music performances.
  
• 17˚ Bar, perched on the 17th floor of the Hotel Dom Henrique, just north of the main city core, 17˚ Bar offers sweeping scenset across the city’s burnt orange rooftops.
  
• Maus Hábitos - meaning “bad habits” in Portuguese - gives you some idea of the debaucherous fun that can be had here. Part bar, part restaurant, part gallery – and also a festival and gig venue – it’s just a few minutes’ walk from the landmark Santo Ildefonso baroque church and in a striking art deco building all of its own.

Meet your driver outside to begin your journey!

• Late morning: Arrive at the Quinta Nova Wine Estate, in the hills of the Douro - with scenic views of the valley - and some of the best wines of Douro. Take the time to explore the estate before lunch.
  
• Early afternoon: Lunch included at Quinta Nova, with a 3-course meal (vegetarian options to choose on-site) plus 4 wines.
  
• Early afternoon: Transfer with your driver down to the river dock
  
• Early afternoon: Private cruise on the Douro River aboard a traditional Rabelo boat (approx. 50-minute cruise)
  
• Late afternoon: Arrive at the river dock in the small town of Pinhao, and meeting with your driver and walk about 200 meters to the Quinta do Bomfim Wine Estate. On the way, pass by the old train station of Pinhao, covered in hundreds of hand-painted Portuguese tiles “Azulejos”.
  
• Late afternoon: Guided visit and Premium Port wine tasting at Bomfim wine estate, in Pinhao (includes a tasting of 3 Port wines, of superior level)

Truly one of the most beautiful capital cities in Europe, it's easy to see why Lisbon is so popular just by looking out the airplane window as you come in to land.

The city is home to a wonderful mix of neighbourhoods, each boasting its own individual character and style. We can explore the winding cobbled streets on foot, or hop on board an iconic yellow tram.

Your driver will meet you outside the accommodation for your transfer in a 19-seater vehicle. Drive from Porto to Lisbon with stops at Óbidos and Nazaré for some scenic sightseeing on the way.

• Afternoon: First stop is at the coastal town of Nazaré (a traditional fishing town known for its record-breaking surf waves).
  
• After a visit, enjoy lunch on your own at one of the many beachfront restaurants, where the fresh seafood from the coast is famous.
  
• Early afternoon: Head off towards your second stop at the walled medieval town of Obidos.
  
• The mediaeval town of Óbidos is one of the most picturesque and well-preserved in Portugal. Here, you will find a well-preserved castle within the walls and a maze of streets and white houses that are a delight to stroll amongst. Along with the Manueline porticoes, the colourful window boxes and the small squares, many fine examples of religious and civil architecture from the town’s golden days provide a host of reasons for making a visit.
  
• Late afternoon: Continue your drive to Lisbon
  
• Evening: Arrive and check-in at your next property

During this epicurean walking tour through Lisbon's streets and neighborhoods, you will discover the Portuguese "Petiscos" (tapas). You'll make strategic stops for tapas & drinks, not at formal restaurants but in the typical “tascas” or local shops where you usually find a wide variety of traditional delicacies.

You will head to 3 stops for local tastings (vegetarian options will also be available):

• Stop 1: Tasting of the famous “Codfish fritter” a Portuguese favourite (alternative vegetarian option available)
  
• Stop 2: cheese tasting, prosciutto ham, bread and a glass of Port wine (chocolate will replace the prosciutto ham for the vegetarians)

A guide will meet you at your property. From there, head on your private transfer to Sintra for the day.

This charming town in the foothills of the Serra de Sintra has long been a favorite destination of Portuguese royalty, and it’s known for its many whimsical palaces and villas – including the Palácio Nacional de Sintra and the magical garden of Quinta da Regaleira.

• Morning: Visit to the Pena Palace with your guide
  
• Midday: Transfer to the town centre of Sintra and visit with your guide through the narrow streets, and bucolic town squares. Take the opportunity to taste some of the local pastries, such as the “queijadas”.
  
• Early afternoon: Continue the drive to the sea for lunch.
  
• Early afternoon: Table reservation for lunch at Azenhas do Mar restaurant (vegetarian options available).
  
• Late afternoon: Transfer back to Lisbon, with a panoramic drive along the coast of Cascais and Estoril
  
• Evening: Arrive back at your apartment in Lisbon

Some great clubs in Lisbon to head out to are:

• LUST IN RIO is a popular waterfront café, bar and open-air club. Open throughout the week in the summer (until early morning on weekends), it’s a spot for theme parties and nights of dancing to the sound of different DJs. The atmosphere is always relaxed, and it's one of Lisbon's trendiest addresses.
  
• LUX - FRÁGIL is the undisputed king of all Lisbon clubs, this is also a bar and concert venue that hosts the city's hottest nights since 1998. It features an always-fabulous interior, a spectacular rooftop terrace overlooking the river, special theme parties, and simply the best DJs in town (often including internationally renowned names).
  
• Note: you'll always find long lines at the door every weekend night, and entry is not guaranteed.
  
• Music Box, located under a bridge in the Cais do Sodre neighborhood, it is is one of Lisbon's best-kept secrets. Unlike all the other nightclubs in Portugal, Music Box doesn't have flashy signs or neon lights advertising the club.

Pink Street is one of the hottest destinations for nightlife in Lisbon - you can always head down here and browse the different bars to see what takes your fancy!

Split into 3 groups, and take to the streets of Lisbon on a cute tuk-tuk, complete with expert drive. We can tailor the itinerary accordingly, but an itinerary could be as follows:

• Start in Baixa, an area that became the heart of Lisbon after its destruction in the 1755 earthquake. The Marquês de Pombal took it upon him to have avenues and plazas created and laid out within a grid plan.
  
• Continue to the enchanted Chiado and visit the famous Elevador de Santa Justa, a remarkable iron elevator built in the late 19th century.
  
• Go the Alfama district, the unmistakable soul of the capital. Alfama unfolds through a charming network of slender cobbled streets, with charming traditional old houses and many of Lisbon’s most important historic buildings.
  
• Finally, visit Saint George's Castle. Located at one of the highest points of the city, it offers some of the best views of Lisbon.

You have 3 Tuk-Tuk's for about 90 minutes - this experience can be tailored to match what you would like to see or anything you haven’t been able to get to yet.
