The Inca Trail to Machu Picchu (45km/26miles) is beyond a doubt one of the most beautiful trails in America and an unforgettable experience not to be missed. The trail leads through the protected wild nature of the Peruvian jungle and forest steppe, passes several archeological Inca sights and offers impressive views. Scenic Trek to High Altitude

After lunch, continue your journey upwards towards Warmiwañusca (Dead Woman’s Pass), reaching the trail's highest point at 4,215 m (13,828 ft). Take a moment to absorb the breathtaking mountain vistas and recharge before descending for another 2 hours to the second campsite at Pacaymayo Alto (3,600 m / 11,482 ft).
