Unveil a tapestry of rich history, vibrant culture, and captivating experiences in Lima. This exciting metropolis on the Pacific Ocean is full of character. It has a booming culinary scene, urban pre-Columbian pyramids, modern art galleries that will dazzle you and colorful neighborhoods ideal for strolls. It was the "City of Kings" to the Spanish conquistadors. Today it's a city of contrasts: shanty towns rub shoulders with skyscrapers, high-end restaurants with street food, ancient temples sit among colonial churches, and bumper-to-bumper traffic leads to sheer cliffs and endless horizons.
In the heart of Lima's vibrant Miraflores district is Hotel B, a boutique hotel that beckons travelers with its unique blend of historic charm and contemporary elegance. Housed within a meticulously restored Belle Époque mansion, this boutique gem offers an intimate and culturally rich experience. Each room and suite is a sanctuary of comfort and sophistication, adorned with locally inspired artwork and featuring luxurious amenities.
After booking, a list of some of our favorite, local spots to dine out at in Lima will be provided. Assistance with dinner reservations will be provided.
Meet your driver and expert guide who will take you on an in-depth, insider tour of Lima’s historical centre. Plaza de Armas is the birthplace of the colonial city centre and where the declaration of Peru’s independence from Spanish rule took place. It serves as the epicenter of the old town, surrounded by the Cathedral of Lima (St. John the Apostle and Evangelist) the Municipal Palace and Archbishop’s Palace, The Magistrate House (Casa del Oidor) and the Government Palace. Casa de Aliaga, a 500-year-old colonial mansion that has been in the same family for 17 generations. Continue on to the leafy neighborhood of San Isidro and end once again in the beautiful oceanfront of Miraflores.

After your tour of Lima, enjoy lunch at the local favorite La Mar Cebichería.
The brainchild of a renowned Peruvian chef, La Mar brings the best from Peru’s Pacific waters to the table daily. The pioneering cevicheria, sat in the heart of Lima’s upmarket Miraflores neighbourhood, regularly features on Latin America’s 50 Best list. As you’d expect, there’s a dazzling array of ceviches to choose from, but La Mar is only open between midday and late afternoon each day to ensure only the freshest produce is served. And you best get there early unless you don’t mind standing in line as it’s no reservations and always a popular choice for locals. The size of the menu might be overwhelming, but you can’t go wrong with the classic ceviche made with catch of the day. And for the full Lima experience, it must be matched with at least one pisco sour.

Welcome to the heart of the Inca civilization. Several sites tucked in the Sacred Valley await to be explored, from farmlands thriving with multicoloured potatoes and corn to the mystic villages of the highlands.
On your way to Cusco, you'll make a brief stop to get an understanding of the human history of the area at the ruins of Sacsayhuaman. It is believed that construction began here during the government of Inca Pachacutec in the 15th century. Supposedly, more than 20,000 men extracted the stones from the nearby quarries and moved it over 12 miles to the hill of the city of Cusco. How exactly did the Incas build Sacsayhuaman with stones of such an immense weight and size at the time? Many questions remain a mystery. Therein lies the beauty of this archaeological site and the Incan people.

White corn —tender and rich in carbohydrates and easy to store and transport— was the specialty of the region and central to the development of the Inca Empire. A family, which has owned the hacienda for more than a century, carries on this farming tradition.

Next, you'll meet with a local shaman in the Sacred Valley for a truly spiritual experience, awakening the mind, body, and soul as the denizens of these mountains have for centuries. You will witness and participate in one of the most meaningful experiences in the Andes, a Payment to the Earth. The basis of the Inca worldview was Pachamama, the Earth Mother. The payments to the earth consisted of thanking the gods of nature for fertility and asking for their blessing for the coming year's crops.

It is believed the terraces of Moray were used to acclimate, experiment with, and domesticate different crops.
