July in Morocco offers long and hot days: in the Atlas Mountains, daily average temperatures around 84°F are normal and in Marrakech, high temperatures climb past 100°F. Generally speaking, it's cooler and drier in the north and Atlas Mountains at this time of year, while in cities such as Marrakech, you might have thunderstorms during your stay.

- Comfortable walking shoes: Morocco and Mallorca's streets and markets can be uneven, so it's important to have comfortable walking shoes or sandals that provide good support.
- Swimwear: Don't forget to pack your swimsuit and coverups.
- Travel adapter: Morocco generally uses the European two-pin plug, so a travel adapter will come in handy for charging your electronic devices.
- Medications and toiletries: Bring any necessary prescription medications, along with basic toiletries such as toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, and soap. It's also a good idea to pack insect repellent and any necessary over-the-counter medications.
- Money and cards: Bring a mix of cash and cards for your trip. Moroccan dirham is the local currency, but major credit and debit cards are widely accepted in tourist areas. It's a good idea to inform your bank about your travel plans to avoid any issues with card transactions.
