For US citizens, entry into Mexico is very straightforward. There are no obligations to submit negative Covid tests, or proof of vaccination.
You may wish to complete an immigration form prior to your departure. This can also be done at the airport, but if you do it beforehand and travel with a printed copy, it may save time.
Conditions are looking perfect for your time in Holbox! Expect sunny days with a little cloud. Rain is not currently forecast. Temperatures will be warm during the day and cooler in the evenings.
Independently proceed through immigration, customs & baggage claim. As you exit the airport, your driver will be waiting for you outside, displaying a sign with your name. Note that this area can get busy if numerous flights arrive at the same time.
Drivers are usually close to the bar at the exit: Air Margaritaville bar or Welcome Bar, depending on the terminal.

The transfer takes about 2 hours & 30 minutes. You will drive to Chiquilia, take a short ferry to Holbox, and then a golf cart to the resort.
