The hotel is located right in the Heart of Florence and just a few steps away from the Duomo; and your room here will give you uninterrupted views of the dome. Hotel Brunelleschi

In many ways, visiting Florence today feels like a trip directly into the Renaissance. The energy that inspired the likes of da Vinci and Michelangelo is still palpable, from the grandiose pink and green facade of the Duomo to an unembellished plate of Florentine steak with potatoes. It’s easy to get engrossed by the art and shopping in the historic center, but walk across the Ponte Vecchio to find Florence’s most authentic osterias and enotecas on the left bank of the river.
No visit to Italy would be complete without viewing its vast collection. This private tour gives expert insight into the collections of either of its two main galleries. The Accademia is home to various sculptures, the most famous being Michelangelo’s David. Stroll along the dazzling corridors of the Uffizi and admire some of the most important artistic treasures such as the Venere and the Primavera of Botticelli, the Annunciazione of Leonardo Da Vinci and a collection of paintings by Caravaggio. While both the museums are unmissable experiences in Florence, you can also choose to visit only one of them based on your interests.

Nowhere in Italy mixes landscape, culture, and history quite like Sicily. In the span of a day, you can hike a spewing volcano, go for a swim in the crystalline sea, take photos of Baroque architecture, and gawk at ruins so old that they make the Colosseum look young. Even Sicilian cuisine is something unique, where couscous is as common as pasta and gelato isn’t served in a cup or a cone but rather a freshly baked brioche bun—the ultimate ice cream sandwich.

Perched like a stork’s nest on top of a hill, Taormina is as ancient as it is beguiling. The maze of tiny corridors are as irresistible as the most charming Italian towns, but none of the others come with Taormina’s panoramic bombshell. The Ancient Greeks built their amphitheater facing south toward the sun, a seemingly strange oversight. But once you’re standing on the steps and taking in the view of Mt. Etna and the Ionian Sea, it’s clear the Greeks knew exactly what they were doing.
Founded by the Greeks in 358 B.C., Taormina was occupied by the Romans and then fell into Byzantine hands. The little town is located on the East coast of Sicily, overlooking the Ionian Sea. Taormina is called the “Pearl of the Mediterranean” for several reasons: nestled on Mount Tauro, it offers the beauty of Mediterranean architecture all the while surrounded by endless magnificent views of both sea and mountains. From its Greek theatre, you can admire the bay of Giardini Naxos and Mount Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe, while on the other side you can gaze out over the coastline toward Messina and view the proximity of the Calabrian coast.
At the end of this walking tour, a picturesque Ape Calessino will be waiting to take you to Castelmola. Leaving the main square, a narrow road climbs up to the remains of the Mola Castle, or rather what is now visible of what was once a fortress that, from its elevation, controlled a vast territory from enemy incursions.
From here, you can enjoy the view of Mount Etna, the majestic highest volcano in Europe that, in addition to its grandeur, makes its presence felt with spectacular eruptions and columns of smoke. At the end of the tour, return to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Etna and the Gulf of Giardini Naxos will provide the perfect background for your day on the water. Swimming in the waters surrounding the Grotta del Giorno is a must. The tour will continue along the coast toward the Baia di Mazzarò and the Baia delle Sirene, one of the most secluded and characteristic bays of the entire coastline and a perfect location for a swim in the clear, warm waters.
