In Italy over the month of July expect daily high temperatures of around 86°F/30°C, rarely falling below 74°F/23°C or exceeding 94°F/34°C, and with low temperatures rarely falling below 64°F/ 18°C or exceeding 74°F/23°C.

The mountains require all weather gear, as the weather can change fast there.

US and Israeli passport holders are allowed to fly into Italy for Business or Tourism without visa requirements.

• Please note that your luggage will be delivered to your accommodation each night, and you will only need to hike with essentials.
  
• Please remember to bring comfortable clothing and slippers to the refugios.
  
• Hiking Poles can be rented in Alpe di Siusi from Alpin Sport, which is right next to COMO Alpina. Your guide will accompany you to rent them, and will handle returning them on your behalf. Water bottles can also be purchased here.
  
• E-Biking: Helmets will be provided; Tall socks are recommended; The best type of footwear is light hiking shoes, waterproof are better, but they should allow for free ankle movement to pedal comfortably.

• Daytime temperatures: Typically range between 15°C to 25°C (59°F to 77°F)
  
• Nighttime temperatures: Can drop to around 10°C to 15°C (50°F to 59°F)
  
• Rain: Possibility of occasional rain showers

Prepare for variable weather conditions by layering clothing and ensuring waterproof and windproof options are readily available.

Suggested gratuity for your hiking guide is between €50-100 per day.

Tipping for the baggage driver is not necessary.

Lunches in the Dolomites are not included in your itinerary and will be paid locally.

Credit cards are accepted nearly everywhere. However, in mountain huts, the connection can sometimes be unreliable.

We recommend bringing some cash.

Cannaregio, a peaceful Venice residential area, offers a break from tourist crowds with captivating architecture and history. Beyond St. Mark’s Square, explore Campo dei Mori, the house of Arab merchants, and experience local life. In the heart is Europe's first Jewish ghetto (1516), revealing unique daily lives and traditions until its gates were demolished in 1797. Visit the museum with a guide through scheduled group tours.

During your stay in Venice, we recommend exploring the nearby Cannaregio district. This charming area remains one of the few authentic parts of Venice and offers a peaceful escape from the crowds. Cannaregio is near your hotel, this is also the best area for iconic Venice snaps - with beautiful bridges and scenery without the crowds!

To fully enjoy San Marco Square, visit early in the morning or in the evening, when it is less crowded.

As Venice is a city of bridges, we highly recommend wearing comfortable shoes to make your explorations more enjoyable.

For a light lunch, try a bacaro, where you can enjoy small snacks without table service, just like the locals do! Don’t miss the opportunity to savor cicchetti and gelato too. If dining outside, be mindful of the seagulls—they love cicchetti too!

Please be reminded to bring comfortable clothing for the refuges and slippers. If you didn't pack slippers, consider bringing the slippers from the hotel.

Reach Saltria by private transfer or walking, accordingly to your preferences, take the Florian cable car (opens in the morning), reach Williams Hut and start the Sassolungo tour on trail 527,then continue on 526B to Rifugio Comici.

Start your hiking journey with your private guide directly from the refuge. Today you will hike the Friedrich August trail from Des Alpes to Zallinger. If you still feel like walking more, you can extend the hike by doing the circuit around Sella Palacia on trail 4-594 from Sassopiatto hut.

Midday: Enjoy lunch at Rifugio Sassopiatto, or a similar hut along the way (paid locally).

After lunch continue your hike.
