In September, Italy typically experiences warm and pleasant weather with temperatures ranging from the mid-70s to low 80s Fahrenheit (around 24-28 degrees Celsius). While occasional rain showers are possible, overall it's a popular time for tourists to explore Italy's beautiful cities, countryside, and coastal regions.
U.S. passport holders do not need any special visa in order to visit Italy for tourism. Make sure your passport is valid for at least three months after your travel dates.
