You awake to the magnificent mountains and countryside of France, as breakfast is served to your cabin. Spend the morning relaxing over petit fours, or in the Bar Car striking conversation with fellow guests, before a leisurely three-course lunch is served in one of our opulent restaurant cars.
Then while away the afternoon admiring the Venetian Lagoon with aperitifs in hand. All too soon it will be time to disembark as we arrive into Santa Lucia station.

First Stop
Welcome to fascinating Murano, a kingdom of world-acclaimed handcrafted glass.
Founded between the 5th and the 7th century Murano experienced its major development after 1291, when all Venetian glass furnaces were moved here to avoid fires in the main city.
Roam the picturesque streets, admire splendid ancient churches and crown your day with a visit to a traditional glass factory for a live glass-blowing demonstration at the oldest scenset Murano Glass Factory!
Second Stop:
Cruise the calm silvery waters learning all about the area's characteristics and history, disembark on Burano and set off to explore.
Renowned worldwide for its brightly-painted houses and exquisite handcrafted lace, Burano is a quaint fishermen's village and a delightful treasure chest of fascinating centuries-old traditions.
Burano island is famous for its lace work and the colorful atmosphere. Walking through picturesque houses, tasting the typical “bussolai” (famous
cookies of the island), feeling like a local. Last but not least, an insightful guided visit into an historical handmade lace workshop and then back to Venice for an outstanding view of the lagoon.
Head back to Venice.
