Tipping is always appreciated, though not obligatory. For drivers, we generally suggest a tip depending on the duration of the transfer. For guides, we recommend a tip for half day experiences or for full day experiences. Tipping at restaurants is completely at your discretion and a few Euro (up to 10% of the bill) is sufficient.
In Rome, the average temperature during the day can range from 25°C to 30°C (77°F to 86°F), and the evenings may be cooler, ranging from 15°C to 20°C (59°F to 68°F). It's usually a good time to visit as the intense summer heat starts to taper off, and the tourist crowds begin to thin out.
In Positano, a beautiful coastal town on the Amalfi Coast, you can expect similar temperatures. Daytime temperatures can range from 25°C to 28°C (77°F to 82°F), while nighttime temperatures may drop to around 18°C to 22°C (64°F to 72°F). The sea temperature is also quite pleasant for swimming, usually around 25°C (77°F).
