This time of year expect warm and sunny days, and pleasant evenings. The temperature hovers between 13-27°C (55-80°F) in the north, 16-27°C (60-83°F) in central Italy, and 21-30°C (70-85°F) in the south. But even though these temperatures may seem perfect, you'll want to pack the lightest layers possible, as Italy is not immune to heat waves during June.

US passport holders are allowed to fly into Italy for Business or Tourism without visa requirements.

Upon arrival into Naples Airport (NAP), proceed through immigration and baggage claim before meeting your private English-speaking host in the arrivals hall. They will be holding signage with the name of your hotel, Capri Tiberio Palace. You will then be assisted to your luxury Mercedes E Class vehicle for a transfer to the Port of Naples.

If you have any trouble finding your host or driver, please first call the contact number will be provided. If you are unable to get in touch with the contact person, you can then contact the Head of Concierge at Capri Tiberio Palace, at the contact number will be provided.

Upon arrival at the port, you will be assisted with your luggage and provided with hydrofoil tickets by your driver. Board your shared ferry for transport from the Port of Naples to the Port of Capri. The transit time is approximately 50 minutes.

Upon arrival in Capri, you'll be met by a Hotel Ambassador who will be waiting at the disembarking pier holding a sign featuring the Capri Tiberio Palace logo. Assistance with luggage transport will be provided – luggage will be safely delivered to the hotel in about two hours. A pre-paid taxi to Capri Town will then be provided.

SENTIERO DEI FORTINI
On Capri's western coast, the Sentiero dei Fortini meanders along a rocky path looking out over spectacular Mediterranean bays and the magnificent vegetation scattered about the island's hillsides. Along the way, you'll pass the Orrico, Mesola and Pino blockhouses, originally built by the British in 1806 and then captured by the French during the Napoleonic Wars. The trail stretches from the lighthouse of Punta Carena to the Blue Grotto where you can end the hike with a lunch at Il Riccio. Be sure to bring plenty of water for this hike and avoid doing this during the midday as the sun beats down the strongest on this part of the island.

MONTE SOLARO
From the Piazza Della Pace in Anacapri, you can walk along Via La Migliera which begins right next to the Piazza. The path will bring you through the vineyards and cozy gardens on the hillside before reaching the dramatic vantage point of the Mediterranean Sea from Belvedere del Tuono. As you continue up the mountainside, you'll be greeted by the rocks of Il Faraglioni rising up from the ocean. Once you reach the top of Monte Solaro you can grab refreshments as you look out on to the Bay of Naples and the rest of Capri. On a clear day, you can even catch a glimpse of the Amalfi Coast and the iconic Mount Vesuvius. From here, you can either take the chairlift down to Anacapri or hike back down the mountain, detouring to the Cetrella valley where you'll find the tiny Church of Santa Maria.

ARCO NATURALE
The perfect hike to combine with a lunch at Le Grotelle, you'll start off at the Piazzetta in Capri town and walk down Via Vittorio Emanuele, following your way towards Via Matermania. Stop off for your lunch (and a drink!) at Le Grotelle before continuing along Via Arco Naturale. At the end of this path, you'll find the stunning Arco Naturale rock formation. From Le Grotelle, you can also hike down the steep hill to the Cave of Matermania before heading along Punta Tragara for views of the Faraglioni rocks.

VILLA JOVIS
During the age of Ancient Rome, Capri served as an island retreat for Emperor Tiberius who commissioned 12 villas to be built during the 1st century A.D. It was here that he could find his peaceful tranquility and escape from his rule of Rome. The remains of one of these villas, Villa Jovis can be visited by a short, uphill hike along Via Tiberio.

At the port, meet your English-speaking captain for a private chartered boat tour along Capri.

Visit some of the island’s pristine, hidden locations, only accessible by water. Italy’s most famous island, Capri, is a dramatic rugged mountain soaring out of the sea at the tip of the Sorrento peninsula. No visit is complete without a few hours spent on the Mediterranean Sea surrounding the island. In fact, many of the most enchanting stretches of the Capri coastline are completely inaccessible by land.

Please note that, during high season, the wait to enter the Blue Grotto can last up to an hour, with no shade or refreshment stand. We recommend bringing a sun hat and sunscreen. Cash payment is required.

Venture to the breathtaking Il Sentiero degli Dei, the "path of the Gods", for a hike to remember.

Make your own way through paradise on the ancient path that used to connect the sleepy hamlet of Nocelle near Positano to Bomerano in Agerola just outside Naples. Named after the natural beauties of its views, the trail is considered one of the most beautiful hiking trails in the world.

On the hike, you will encounter the remains of ancient farmhouses and meet local shepherds carrying wood with their mules, or milk to remote towns dotted around the hills and along the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
