Tucked away between Waring Street & Exchange Place in the historic back streets of Cathedral Quarter, The Muddlers Club has been named after the secret society that met there over 200 years ago. Street art using masonic inspired imagery and the all-seeing eye overlooking the restaurant sets the tone in the dark secretive yet warming post-industrial room designed by Oscar & Oscar.
With a menu based on meticulously prepared but simple dishes, a focused wine list and extensive, innovative cocktail list this restaurant writes its own rules. A chef and his team hand pick the best of home grown produce daily to ensure the quality of each dish served.

The formation of the Giant's Causeway was due to intense volcanic activity. Lava welling up through fissures in the chalk bed formed a "lava plateau". Three periods of volcanic activity gave rise to the Lower, Middle and Upper Basalts, and it's the Middle Basalt rock which forms the famous amphitheatres of hexagonal columns in the Causeway. Weathered formations have created circular structures round a core of basalt which are known locally as "giant's eyes". Some other formations with popular names are the Chimney Stacks, The Harp, The Organ and the Camel's Hump.
Sea birds can be seen off the coast around the Causeway, with species such as fulmar, petrel, cormorant, shag, redshank guillemot and razorbill being frequently observed. Rare and unusual plant species including sea spleenwort, hare's foot trefoil, vernal squill, sea fescue and frog orchid can be found on the cliffs and nearby rock formations.

Visit Bru na Boinne Centre (TBC) which is designed to present the archaeological heritage of the Boyne Valley which includes the megalithic passage tomb of Newgrange.
Newgrange is Ireland's best-known prehistoric monument and is one of the archaeological wonders of Western Europe. It's classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Built as a burial mound more than 5,000 years ago--long before the Great Pyramids and Stonehenge--it sits atop a hill near the River Boyne, massive and impressive. The huge mound--11m (36 ft.) tall and approximately 78m (260 ft.) in diameter--consists of 200,000 tons of stone, a 6-ton capstone, and other stones weighing up to 16 tons each, many of which were hauled from as far away as county Wicklow and the Mountains of Mourne. Each stone fits perfectly in the overall pattern, and the result is a watertight structure, an amazing feat of engineering. Carved into the stones are myriad spirals, diamonds, and concentric circles. Inside, a passage 18m (60 ft.) long leads to a central burial chamber with a 5.7m (19-ft.) ceiling. Fascination with Newgrange reaches a peak at the winter solstice when sunlight pierces the inner chamber with an orange-toned glow for about 17 minutes at dawn from December 19 to 23.

The Cliffs of Moher - one of Ireland’s most stunning natural beauty spots, which defiantly stand as giant natural ramparts against the aggressive might of the Atlantic Ocean. They rise in places to over 700 feet and stretch for almost 5 miles. A tower, which was constructed in the early 19th century as a viewing point for Victorian tourists, is located on Moher’s highest cliff. From its exceptional vantage position, you can view the Clare coastline, the Aran Islands and mountains as far apart as Kerry and Connemara.
Visit the charming village which is the home of traditional Irish music, with
plenty of music and craic to be had. You can take a clifftop walk breathing in the crisp, salty Atlantic air while appreciating the beautiful wildflowers, discover the great stalactite at the cave, explore the rugged landscape or go on an Atlantic cruise to appreciate the unique coastline from a different perspective. It's a vibrant place full of characters, stories, and experiences.
Travel along the coast where you will see the vast, moon-like Burren region which is one of Ireland's most compelling landscapes. Here, cool grey rock etched with crevices and cracks tumbles down to the wild blue Atlantic Ocean. The result is one of nature's most extraordinary phenomena: a huge rocky pavement dotted with rock formations, caves and fossils, as well as an incredible array of flowers, from native species to Arctic, Alpine and Mediterranean plants. You may like to visit the Burren Perfumery located close to the village of Ballyvaughan.
Eventually you will make your way back to Adare for your final night at the manor.
