Daily high temperatures in February are around 85-90 degrees Fahrenheit (29-32 degrees Celsius). February falls during the rainy season in Bali, so expect some rainfall during your visit. That being said, February is one of the drier months during the rainy season, and you can still expect plenty of clear skies and sunshine.

Uluwatu is known for its dramatic views over the Indian Ocean and the famed temples that overlook its cliffs. Natural vegetation and lush landscape here provide a sense of privacy, seclusion and serenity.

Take an afternoon tour to Uluwatu Temple, located on the extreme southwestern tip of the island, about 20 minutes from your accommodation. This temple dates back to the 11th century and is one of Bali's nine cardinal temples. On the edge of a steep cliff some 70 meters above the roaring waves of the Indian Ocean, the location is downright spectacular. The temple is inhabited by a large number of monkeys, well-known for snatching visitors' belongings, including cameras and sunglasses. Keep a good grip on all your belongings!
After the temple tour, watch the sunset from Uluwatu accompanied by the traditional Kecak Fire dance performance.

Enjoy a 1 hour private class of Batik Making at Arma. This is a workshop where participants will learn about many features of Balinese batik, foremost of which are its form, motifs, techniques used, and its history. An interesting hint is to compare and find the difference between the motifs unique to Balinese batik and those motifs representative of the Javanese batik for instructive reference. In this workshop, each participant will receive a set of utensils and will make a piece of Balinese batik.
