Take an afternoon tour to Uluwatu Temple, located on the extreme southwestern tip of the island. This temple dates back to the 11th century and is one of Bali's nine cardinal temples. On the edge of a steep cliff some 70 meters above the roaring waves of the Indian Ocean, the location is downright spectacular. The temple is inhabited by a large number of monkeys, well-known for snatching visitors' belongings, including cameras and sunglasses. Keep a good grip on all your belongings!
After the temple tour, watch the sunset from Uluwatu accompanied by the traditional Kecak monkey dance.

Visit a local's Home to participate in preparing and cooking a range of Balinese dishes, using local ingredients and spices, over a traditional wood fired oven. The host will show you their organic garden where they grow vegetables, spices and other food crops.
The host learned their gardening skill from a family member and will lead you to pick vegetables and spices for your cooking lesson which will be conducted by their spouse. The host will explain local philosophies about food sharing unique insights into the culture of the Balinese as you pound, grind and chop ingredients.
