In December, Bali experiences warm and tropical weather characterized by high temperatures and occasional rainfall. The average daytime temperatures range from 26°C to 31°C (79°F to 88°F), making it pleasantly warm for outdoor activities and beach relaxation. However, December falls within the wet season, so you can expect occasional rain showers and increased humidity.
These showers are often short-lived and sporadic, with the possibility of heavy downpours. Despite the occasional rain, Bali's lush landscapes are at their most vibrant during this time, creating a picturesque backdrop for your exploration.
A Tourist Visa is required for entry to Indonesia. A visa upon arrival for up to 30 days is available and can be extended one time for an additional 30 days. For more information, please visit the U.S. State Department website.
Your passport must be valid for at least six months. You must then show a return ticket before purchasing the visa. After obtaining the Visa On Arrival, continue to the immigration checkpoint to get the entry stamp before retrieving your luggage.
