Daily high temperatures are around 85-90 degrees F. May is the beginning of the dry season in Bali, so days should mostly be clear skies with lots of sunshine. Being the tropics, some rain is always possible. It's one of the best months to visit as not only is the weather almost perfect, but peak season is still a couple of months away - meaning fewer visitors.
- A tourist visa is required for entering Indonesia. You can either apply online at this link no sooner than 14 days before arrival OR you can apply for a visa on arrival at the Bali airport when you land.
- You can pay online with credit card or at the airport with credit card or cash.
- A CDC vaccine card for Covid- 19 is also required to enter Indonesia.
It's been a long journey to get to Bali, and a private transfer will be waiting at the airport to help with check-in and immigration.
You'll be welcomed as you get off the plane with assistance for getting through Indonesian immigration and customs, including help with the visa on arrival.
After passing through immigration, your guide will be waiting for you for the journey to Ubud.

Full day touring including hiking in rice terraces, exploring hidden villages and temples and a private blessing at a Hindu temple. In the afternoon, visit the markets of Ubud where locals sell street food, fruits, handicrafts, and folk art. Afterward, venture into the famous Monkey Forest, a sacred jungle home to mischievous Balinese long-tailed macaques. Make your way into the forest and you'll find the Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegal, an ancient temple dedicated to worship of the dead.

This morning set off on the Campuhan Ridge Walk, an easy 9km hill nature walk that offers a stunning vista of the hillside and valleys. Spot small village houses and rice fields as you continue north towards the small village of Bangkiang Sidem. There is a cafe in the village if you wish to stop for refreshments.
If you're up to it, this can swapped out for a sunrise hike to the peak of Mt. Batur to catch the first light over Bali.

After your hike, go for a thrilling adventure along the water ways of central Bali in a raft with your expert guide. You'll get a very different perspective of the island from the water, and get your heart racing while you're at it too!

Head out to the water on a private boat, visiting one of Bali's incredible diving sites at Nusa Penida or Nusa Lembongan (final decision depends on conditions). You'll mask up and head into some of the most biodiverse waters in the world where you may see manta rays, sea turtles, barracuda, and all types of tropical fish.
