A tourist visa is required for entering Indonesia. You can either apply online no sooner than 14 days before arrival, OR you can apply for a visa on arrival at the Yogyakarta airport when you land.

The application fee will be provided. You can pay online with credit card or at the airport with credit card or cash (IDR and USD accepted). Note that American Express is not accepted.

Upon arrival at Yogyakarta International Airport, as you disembark from the aircraft, an associate from the airport authority will meet you there. They will hold a signboard with your name written. They will take you to a premium line for the short queue of immigration clearance and assist you with visa-on-arrival purchases and luggage retrieval.

They will then take you to the main arrival gate to meet your tour guide, who will take you to the hotel (about 90 minutes).

The rest of the day will be at your leisure.

Borobudur

Borobudur, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Central Java, Indonesia, stands as a majestic testament to ancient Buddhist art and architecture. Built in the 9th century, this colossal stone monument comprises nine stacked platforms adorned with intricate reliefs and 504 Buddha statues. The structure, shaped like a mandala, showcases a fusion of Indonesian and Indian artistic styles. Pilgrims ascend through the monument's three levels, symbolizing the stages of Buddhist enlightenment, culminating in a central dome with a captivating panoramic view of the surrounding lush landscape. Day 2: Exploring Borobudur

Meet your guide in the hotel lobby in the morning and set out for your private tour. You will tour in the comfort of your own private vehicle.

Your guide will take you to the world-famous Borobudur Temple, reputedly one of the grandeur Buddhist monuments rivaling Angkor Wat. It has 6 levels to pronounce the sacred number of Buddhist rituals and moral stories beautifully sculptured on its walls and balustrades.

It was the Sailendra dynasty that embraced Mahayana Buddhism in the early 9th century and the temple took almost 100 years to be completed. Borobudur is a huge pyramid that rises from the green plains like the neighboring volcanoes. From its 150,000-square-foot base, one must climb six tiers to the top. The top level is dotted with 72 small, latticework stupas, each with a statue of Buddha inside, visible through the grates.

This afternoon, discover the essence of rural Java with a Borobudur Village Tour. Explore local villages, experience traditional life, and witness the charm of the iconic Borobudur Temple surroundings.

Enjoy a 3-hour cycling journey along the slopes of Mount Merapi, passing through charming villages and stone mining areas. Experience Javanese culture and indulge in the flavours of local cuisine at a local restaurant.

Meet a local philanthropist, and enjoy a traditional lunch with their family in their elegant home. After lunch, visit the UNESCO-listed Prambanan Temple, an architectural wonder dating back to the 10th century. Marvel at the grandeur of three main temples dedicated to Vishnu, Brahma, and Shiva, and be enthralled by the intricately carved bas-reliefs illustrating scenes from the ancient Ramayana epic.

Afterwards, return to the hotel for an evening at leisure.

Your guide will take you through the scenic village of Citran, where you'll pass by peaceful paddy fields and clusters of coconut trees. From there, you'll enter the majestic rainforest, trekking for about 1.5 hours. You'll encounter crystal-clear rivers, terraced rice fields, and vibrant vegetable gardens along the way.

The trail will lead you through streams and jungle, offering stunning views of Sumbing Mountain and the surrounding valley. Your final destination is the sacred Selogriyo Temple, an 8th-century Hindu temple nestled among the hills. Admire the intricate carvings and enjoy the serene atmosphere of this hidden gem. Afterward, you'll be treated to refreshments before heading back to Borobudur, strolling through village alleys, and enjoying the scenic views on the ride back. Experience the tranquillity and timeless beauty of rural Java on this unforgettable journey. End your trip to enjoy a simple picnic lunch.

Day 5: Yogyakarta - Bali
Pick Up Time

Meet your English speaking driver in the hotel lobby in the morning and proceed by private transfer to Yogyakarta Airport.

Arrival Transfer

Upon arrival, walk through the hall leading to the luggage belt for luggage retrieval. Walk to the main arrival hall of the domestic terminal, where your tour guide will be waiting for you. They will be holding a signboard with your name written on it. They will then take you to the hotel—the rest of the day at your leisure.

Note: The transfer will take about 90 minutes depending on traffic.

Ubud

Arguably Bali's most charming city, Ubud also remains the central hunting ground for the island's best handicrafts. The countryside around Ubud is home to cascading rice paddies, lush rainforests, and beautiful hiking trails... perfect for those looking to explore.

Day 6: Half Day Touring
Pick Up Time

Meet your guide at the hotel lobby in the morning and set out for your private tour. You will tour in the comfort of your own private vehicle.

Waterfall Blessing

Your guide will take you to Sala Village, where a Hindu Priest will welcome you and then offer you a set of sarongs to wear during the blessing. The priest will lead you to the temple for a short meditation.

Afterwards, walk down to the river and go inside, where you can find a huge waterfall. Bathe yourself under the waterfall and feel the sensation. Continue to the next waterfall inside the rock cave by passing a small tunnel and stairs. Perform another purification at the holy spring water fountain on the temple's left side. You enter the temple by hitting the hanging bell at the entrance three times. Go to the big pool with holy spring water for your last purification. After finishing the previous cleansing, sit on the bale surrounding the big lotus altar. The local priest will chant mantras to give you a peaceful feeling, purify your soul, and unite you with the mother of earth. After the ceremony you will be taken back to the hotel for the afternoon.

Day 7: Full Day Touring

Meet your guide in the hotel lobby in the morning and set out for your private tour.

Walking & Cooking

You will meet a guide and set off for a 2 hour hike, walking through the rice field path, down to the river valley, crossing a small river on a bamboo bridge, and ascending to the village of Keliki. Enjoy a beautiful view of the rice fields with a coconut grove background. You will have the chance to see a unique traditional duck farm.

Along the way, your guide will explain the way the Balinese cultivate rice as well as the Subak irrigation system. In addition, he is very knowledgeable about traditional medication produced from herbs and plants. The walk will end at a local's house, where a simple Balinese lunch will be prepared for you.

Day 8: Full Day Touring
Pick Up Time

Meet your guide at the hotel lobby in the morning and set out for your private tour.

Cycling Experience

Your guide will take you to Sebatu Village, known for its thriving artistic community.

Your first stop will be at Gunung Kawi Temple, a beautiful landscape with a large compound and holy water spring altars. After exploring the temple, you will hop back in the car for a short drive to the starting point for your bike tour. You will have a coffee break and get fitted for your bike.

Start riding through the village, where you can witness the artistry of wood carving and observe traditional Balinese homes. Take a single path along the farmer's pathway, passing through rice fields to see farming activities. The scenic route will allow you to enjoy the breathtaking rainforest views and mountains in the background. Afterwards, explore the rice fields on the other side of the village, where you'll be treated to different views. The bike ride will last approximately 2.5 hours and end in a hidden paradise where a picnic lunch will be set up. After lunch, walk down to the valley to visit a small holy waterfall. This is a lesser-known spot, so it's a great opportunity to experience a tranquil and secluded natural setting.

Day 9: Ubud - Uluwatu

Day 10: Full Day Cruising

Meet your guide in the hotel lobby in the morning and set out for your private cruise.

You will sail over to the islands of Lembongan, Penida and/or Ceningan, approximately 55-65 minutes away from the mainland.

You will enjoy complimentary snacks, tropical fruits and an array of complimentary chilled beverages as you relax on board, listening to ambient music whilst enjoying the spectacular scenset and, if you're lucky, some dolphin spotting.

Upon arrival you can snorkel in stunning bays with crystal clear waters, make use of the SUP Boards, paddle past beautiful cliff ranges, do some fun line fishing or loll about on the inflatable pontoon raft.

Afterwards, continue by visiting Kelingking Beach, an Iconic Nusa Penida spot renowned for its spectacular views. Dubbed T-Rex Bay on Google Maps. The cliff-top viewpoint offers breathtaking scenset and a chance to spot Manta rays. Before you're transferred back to the hotel, you will enjoy lunch.
