In September, the weather in Bali remains warm and pleasant as it is still part of the dry season. The average temperature is 27°C (81°F), with lows of 22°C (72°F) and highs of 31°C (88°F). The month starts with lots of sunny days, cool breezes, and minimal rainfall, maintaining an average temperature of 27°C (81°F) throughout.
As September progresses, there is a slight increase in rain and cloudy days, but the chance of rain remains relatively low. The average amount of rain in September is 50mm, spread over four days. Despite the transition to the wet season, the sea temperature stays the same as the previous two months at a warm 27°C (81°F).
The month sees about nine hours of daily sunshine on average, a slight decrease from the prior three months. Humidity levels in September are the lowest for the year, with an average of 70%, which may feel slightly uncomfortable, but the constant cool breeze offers some relief.

Starting on June 9, 2023, the Indonesian Government no longer requires proof of vaccination. It is still recommended by the Indonesian government to continue to be vaccinated against COVID-19 up to the second booster/fourth dose, especially for those who are at risk of contracting COVID-19. Travelers no longer need to download the “SATU SEHAT/PEDULI LINDUNGI” application. It is no longer a requirement to wear a mask but it is advisable if you have symptoms. It is still recommended that travelers carry their vaccine cards when traveling. The Indonesian Government is no longer testing for COVID-19 and any resulting quarantine is no longer in effect.

This morning, hike the Gunung Batur volcano. Arise very early in the morning and drive for about an hour to the base. Your hike begins in the early morning hours, when it is still dark. The hike to the summit takes approximately 1.5-2 hours. Arrive at the peak just in time to see the first rays of light appear. Savor the sunrise, fresh morning air, and relative tranquility with a packed breakfast and a cup of hot coffee or tea. Descend through a lava field to Pura Jati. Return to your hotel and relax for the rest of the morning.

Start the day with a hike to the Tegenungan Waterfall. You'll then set off on the Campuhan Ridge Walk. Although it is long at 9km, this easy nature walk offers a stunning vista of the hillside and valley which are dotted with small village houses and rice fields.

Begin the day with a stroll to Merlion Park to enjoy the impressive views of Marina Bay. Then, hop in a taxi to drive around the Civic District's most impressive architectural highlights, passing by the Padang, Singapore Cricket Club, historic Parliament House, and the National Gallery Singapore.
From here, drive to Chinatown to see the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple & Museum. Pause for a private meditation session in front of a Buddha relic.

Head to MacRitchie Reservoir Park (approximately 20 minute drive), where you can immerse yourself in the natural side of Singapore that most visitors never see.
