There is an old Greek saying that goes along the lines of 'When God wanted to recreate Heaven on Earth; he made Greece', and it's easy to see why. Your trip will see you exploring the Peloponnese by road, discovering Ancient Greek sites filled with history, wandering through Greek streets to try all the fantastic food on offer, spending time with each other as a family; and ending your trip on the Mediterranean beaches.

Maintaining a place for thousands of years is no easy task and, on the surface, Athens can feel like a city in shambles. But if you’re willing to embrace the chaos, then hipster neighborhoods and an underground art scene give Athens an up-and-coming vibe, despite being one of the oldest cities in the world. It’s a capital of contradictions, where sipping a craft cocktail in a trendy rooftop bar overlooking the ruins of the Acropolis is par for the course.
Your international flight to Athens arrives this morning.

Why we love it for you: The name of the hotel should tip you off that a stay here is a regal affair (the hotel is even next door to the Old Royal Palace). Murano chandeliers and marble columns provide the old-world elegance, but the works of modern-day Greek artists adorn the walls for a fresh touch. Centrally located in Syntagma Square, the entire city is at your doorstep, although you only need to walk upstairs to enjoy the rooftop bar views of the Parthenon.

To start your honeymoon right, indulge in a morning at leisure at your hotel.
In the afternoon, learn about millennia of history: a private English-speaking guide will meet you in your hotel lobby and take you to the Acropolis.
The Acropolis is the most important ancient site in the Western world. Crowned by the Parthenon, it stands sentinel over Athens, visible from almost everywhere within the city. Its monuments and sanctuaries of white Pentelic marble gleam in the midday sun and gradually take on a honey hue as the sun sinks, while at night they stand brilliantly illuminated above the city. A glimpse of this magnificent sight can not fail to exalt your spirit.
The Acropolis became a World Heritage-listed site in 1987. The Museum was founded to exhibit all the significant finds from the Sacred Rock and its foothills. It was designed by architect Bernard Tschumi with Michael Photiadis and inaugurated in the summer of 2009. The Museum hosts its collections across three levels, as well as in the archaeological excavation that lies at its foundations.

Please note that the walk up the Acropolis Hill is part of the experience of visiting this incredible ancient site. Consider the astounding number of people who have walked the same path through millennia. In fact, all the buildings you see on the Acropolis were built or rebuilt during the 500-300 B.C. As a result, the marble steps are very shiny and slick. Additionally, don’t forget to wear a pair of comfortable walking shoes and absolutely avoid wearing flip flops. Sunblock, sunglasses, and a hat are a must. Lastly, don’t forget to bring a water bottle and lots of energy!
Pack your sunglasses and a straw hat this morning! You are heading for the islands!!

The local residents would tell you that their island is the most inviting of all the Cyclades. While they may be biased, it’s hard not to agree once you’re there. The gentle waves and sneaking coves beckon visitors like a siren’s song, and the people are so hospitable you may end up in someone’s home for family dinner. Brandishing its community spirit, the island is also on track to become the first plastic-free island in the Mediterranean.
Check into your hotel and settle in. The afternoon is yours to explore the city.
Why we love it for you: Paros is known as one of the most laidback Greek islands, and Parīlio fully plays into the ethos of ultimate leisure. The design team created a sanctuary by limiting distractions, opting for whitewashed walls, neutral colors, and unfussy décor that blends in with the natural beauty of Paros. The cross-shaped pool is as calm and cerulean as the Mediterranean Sea, although the real thing is walking distance away when you want time on the beach.

Antiparos, a tiny islet just a few minutes off of the coast of Paros, is considered the island's boho alter-ego. A definite must-visit, Antiparos has great beaches and a tiny, laid-back town but most importantly here you will find an authentic cooking class in a local home!
Food is an integral part of Cycladic and Greek culture. Enrich your stay in Antiparos by taking a live cooking lesson on how locals prepare traditional recipes with the use of local ingredients.
Depending on the season and the ingredients, two recipes will be demonstrated. When your meal is ready, you will enjoy it with your friends together with local wine or tsipouro, a Greek distillate, which will make the atmosphere even warmer.
At the end of your meal, you are welcome to spend some more time in the farm before your car drives you back to the hotel.

There are no cars on Hydra, but you won’t need one since the perimeter of the island is only about 19 miles.
