There is an old Greek saying that goes along the lines of 'When God wanted to recreate Heaven on Earth; he made Greece', and it's easy to see why. The crystal blue waters of the Aegean, the idyllic Cycladic islands, the relics and monuments of one of the most impactful civilizations that have persisted for a millennium; it's all just a fraction of the allure that enamors visitors to this sanctuary in the Mediterranean.

Maintaining a place for thousands of years is no easy task and, on the surface, Athens can feel like a city in shambles. But if you’re willing to embrace the chaos, then hipster neighborhoods and an underground art scene give Athens an up-and-coming vibe, despite being one of the oldest cities in the world. It’s a capital of contradictions, where sipping a craft cocktail in a trendy rooftop bar overlooking the ruins of the Acropolis is par for the course.

Located near iconic landmarks, this boutique gem seamlessly blends modern luxury with timeless charm. Indulge in the allure of elegantly appointed rooms, each a testament to contemporary Greek design. The hotel's artistic ambiance, coupled with attentive service, creates an immersive experience. Beyond the doors, Athens unfolds its historic treasures, offering a captivating backdrop to your exploration.
On your first morning in Athens, enjoy breakfast in the rooftop patio, taking in the views of the Acropolis. Afterward, meet a guide to explore it up-close
The Acropolis is the most important ancient site in the Western world. Crowned by the Parthenon, it stands sentinel over Athens, visible from almost everywhere within the city. Its monuments and sanctuaries of white Pentelic marble gleam in the midday sun and gradually take on a honey hue as the sun sinks, while at night they stand brilliantly illuminated above the city. A glimpse of this magnificent sight can not fail to exalt your spirit.
The Acropolis became a World Heritage-listed site in 1987. The Museum was founded to exhibit all the significant finds from the Sacred Rock and its foothills. It was designed by architect Bernard Tschumi with Michael Photiadis and inaugurated in the summer of 2009. The Museum hosts its collections across three levels, as well as in the archaeological excavation that lies at its foundations.
Please note that the walk up the Acropolis Hill is part of the experience of visiting this incredible ancient site. Consider the astounding number of people who have walked the same path through millennia. In fact, all the buildings you see on the Acropolis were built or rebuilt during the 500-300 B.C. As a result, the marble steps are very shiny and slick. Additionally, don’t forget to wear a pair of comfortable walking shoes and absolutely avoid wearing flip flops. Sunblock, sunglasses, and a hat are a must. Lastly, don’t forget to bring a water bottle and lots of energy!

Why we love it for you: The blue and white of the Cyclades combined with the blue of the sea shed a unique light over the surroundings of the Minois Sugarcube Suites. Situated in an ideal location in Parasporos – just 3 kms from Parikia and 9 kms from Naoussa – close enough to enjoy the hustle and bustle of their vibrant night life but far enough away to relax in a quiet and tranquil environment. The complex comprises 40 fully equipped apartments, suites and houses with large verandas offering views to the sea and gardens.
The local residents would tell you that their island is the most inviting of all the Cyclades. While they may be biased, it’s hard not to agree once you’re there. The gentle waves and sneaking coves beckon visitors like a siren’s song, and the people are so hospitable you may end up in someone’s home for family dinner. Brandishing its community spirit, the island is also on track to become the first plastic-free island in the Mediterranean.
Through Paros’ green and flowery meadows, along hillsides and down into cool valleys, a path of weathered, grey marble flagstones meanders from the pretty hillside village of Lefkes to Prodromos, a small, old, fortified Cycladic settlement. This is the Byzantine Road, built about one thousand years ago as part of the main thoroughfare across Paros from Paroikia to Piso Livadi, at a time when the Aegean Sea was infested with pirates. Today, the Byzantine Road offers a lovely and only mildly strenuous amble that covers 3.5 kilometers, crossing the island’s interior.
Follow your guide to learn about the famous Parian marble, the Byzantine footprint, the old traditions all while admiring beautiful scenery and nature.

Of Greece’s thousands of islands, none is more glamorized than Santorini. Dramatic cliffs formed from a volcanic eruption are dotted with white-washed villages, where labyrinthine stairways always lead to a jaw-dropping vista. The island’s popularity means there is world-class cuisine to be enjoyed, even if it’s as simple as the catch of the day at a local taverna. However good the menu is, the most memorable part of dinner is likely to be the view of the sun setting into the caldera.
