It's the wet season, so expect occasional heavy rain showers and thunderstorms, especially in the afternoons. Despite the rain, there's still plenty of sunshine for outdoor activities, and the sea remains warm for swimming and water sports, with temperatures around 80°F (27°C). The humidity is high, contributing to the lush vegetation, and weather conditions can vary among the different island groups. UK Passport holders do not need a visa to visit French Polynesia.
