They say that France’s allure comes from its je ne sais quoi, but there’s a reason that it’s the most visited country in the world. The quoi, as it happens, is the unceasing power to surprise you. You could spend a lifetime in Paris and discover something new with every stroll.

Day 1: Arrival in Paris

With its belle époque architecture, centuries of history, and countless museums, it’s no wonder Paris has been the home to generations of artists, writers, and musicians. It’s easy to feel inspired while climbing the Eiffel Tower or wandering the Louvre, but the city’s true soul resides in its quotidian pleasures: a flaky croissant from the corner patisserie, discovering a quiet cobblestone street, drinking an apéritif along the Seine. Perhaps you’ll find your own muse in the City of Lights.

The Louvre: Independent Touring

The Louvre, situated in the heart of Paris, is a colossal testament to human artistic achievement. Once a regal palace, it has evolved into one of the world's largest and most renowned art museums. Its grandeur is marked by a harmonious blend of historic architecture and modern design, notably showcased through the iconic glass pyramid entrance.

Housing a vast collection that spans from ancient civilizations to the 19th century, the Louvre offers visitors the chance to marvel at masterpieces like the enigmatic Mona Lisa and the timeless Venus de Milo. Attracting over 9 million visitors annually, the Louvre stands not only as a cultural treasure trove but also as a symbol of the enduring power and allure of art.

This is an independently planned experience without a guide from Scenset.
