In May, France offers pleasant and mild weather with occasional showers and cooler evenings. Towards the end of the month, the sea warms up.

Paris sees the most rain with temperatures ranging from mild to warm on sunny days; while Nice on the southern coast receives the least rain with temperatures ranging from mild to warm.

Here is the tipping guide for your services during your trip.

• Short transfers: Tipping isn't mandatory, but a small token of appreciation is nice. A reasonable range for good service is suggested.
  
• Full-day driving service: A tip is recommended for a full day of service.
  
• Sunset Cruise: Similar to transfers, tipping isn't expected. However, if the crew provided exceptional service, a tip per person for the entire crew (to be divided amongst them) is appreciated.
  
• Spa services: In France, spa staff generally receive a salary. A small tip is appropriate for exceptional service, but not required.
  
• Fly fishing: The driver will also serve as your guide, and a gratuity is recommended.

U.S. citizens with valid passports traveling for tourism or business can enter France without a visa for a period of 90 days within each six-month period.
