After a driving tour of Santiago viewing the city’s most famous landmarks from your vehicle, reach San Cristobal Hill. One of seven hills that form the city’s Metropolitan Park, San Cristobal offers excellent views of the city and the surrounding mountains. It has also played an important role in the history of Santiago, from pre-Hispanic times to the modern day. The journey to the top will be by cable car, and down via the hill’s famous funicular railways.

With your expert guide, visit the Argentine side of the falls. The park has several meandering walking trails from which to explore the falls. Begin with the adventurous ‘circuito inferior’ (lower circuit) that snakes in and out of the thick rainforest surroundings of the waterfalls, with close-up views of some of the falls.

Stop for a relaxed lunch at the Melia Iguazu Resort & Spa, set within the National Park with privileged views of the waterfalls.

Continue on to the impressive ‘circuito superior’ (upper circuit), a walking trail over the cusp of the waterfalls with vertiginous bridges and perspective-shifting views. Saunter across more meandering pathways over the river before coming face to face with the largest waterfall in the park, ‘Garganta del Diablo,’ or The Devil’s Throat as it’s known by the locals.

Visit a wildlife bird sanctuary internationally recognized for its conservation and rescue efforts of the local fauna. We have arranged a special ‘behind the scenes’ visit where you will meet the people who care for the diverse species and get up close and personal with some of the birds and animals.

Update on July 31st: The "Conecta Experience" with the birds outside of the cage has been cancelled for the time being because some animals have "avian flu" and the park rangers want to protect them so they are not offering this experience anymore but you can still enjoy the regular visit at the bird sanctuary.

Shortly after your bird sanctuary visit, your guide will walk you to the Macuco Safari starting point, ending near your hotel in the early afternoon. Your guide will provide you with directions on how to get back to the hotel as it is walking distance from your end point.
