Shinta Mani Wild is the camping experience of a lifetime that blends the best of luxury, adventure, and conservation.
Even before the first sip of your tropical welcome drink, itβs clear that a stay at Shinta Mani Wild will be anything but ordinary. On approaching the fringes of this remote jungle property, a staff member puts you in a harness and helmet and sends you zip-lining over a waterfall straight to the check-in desk.
The thrilling arrival is just a preview of the adventure experiences that await a Shinta Mani Wild. The days are filled with all sorts of escapades, like mountain biking, zip-lining, hiking, kayaking, foraging for food, and picnicking on the crest of a waterfall, to name a few.
In between excursions, guests hang out in one of just 15 fanciful "tents," each with a unique jungle theme. The decor is in the unmistakable bohemian style of owner Bill Bensley, the renowned architect and designer. Indoor bedrooms and bathrooms meld into an outdoor living space with giant hammocks and a soaking tub overlooking the jungle canopy. And yes, there's electricity, too.
To feel truly pampered, unlimited spa treatments are included in every stay. That can mean a foot rub by the pool or a full Khmer-style massage to enjoy under a waterfall.
Shinta Mani Wild partners with the Wildlife Alliance to protect the land on which it sits, over 800 acres in the lush Cardamom Mountains of Cambodia, home to some of the world's most vulnerable species. Guests are encouraged to participate in conservation efforts such as setting camera traps or joining an anti-poaching patrol. Every stay here contributes to the preservation of this incredible and natural wonderland.
