After what is likely to be a wild night, spend your last full day in Brazil relaxing on the beach and soaking up some summer sun before returning to winter.
Enjoy the beach near your hotel at leisure. This beach draws all types of locals (cariocas). You’ll spot bronzed soccer players and jet setters strutting along the shore. We recommend stopping at La Garota de Ipanema pub, where, in 1962, the poet Vinicius de Moraes penned his Portuguese words for the bossa nova jazz song we cannot get out of our heads (“Tall and tan and young and lovely…”).

There are two bars in Ipanema that are within a 20-minute walk from your hotel (and within a 5-minute walk from each other) that regularly play major U.S. sports games. There's no guarantee they'll be playing the Rose Bowl, but they're your best bet!
