- Fort Charlotte: This fort was built in the late 18th century by the British to protect the island from invaders. Visitors can explore the fort's ramparts and dungeons, which still bear witness to the fort's military history.
- Queen's Staircase: This is a set of 66 steps that were carved out of solid limestone in the late 18th century by enslaved Africans. The staircase was named in honor of Queen Victoria, who reigned over the British Empire at the time.
- Government House: This is the official residence of the Governor-General of the Bahamas. The building was constructed in the late 18th century and features Georgian-style architecture.
