Antigua weather in December is pleasant and enjoyable. With 11 hours of daylight each day and an average high of 30°C, you’ll enjoy relaxing on its sandy bays until the sun goes down. The island averages 141mm of rainfall each month, so you can leave your umbrella behind and bask in the warmth of the Caribbean sun.

U.S. citizens must have a U.S. passport valid for 180 days after their departure date. No visa is required if you have an onward or return ticket, confirmation of accommodation, and can show you can support yourself. Passport cards are not accepted.

After clearing customs, meet your private driver and enjoy the short trip to your resort.

• When you leave the aircraft, look out for an employee holding a Hermitage Bay sign, or someone holding any hotel sign, at the top of the escalator leading down to the Immigration Hall. If there is a long queue exiting the plane you will need to walk past everyone until you find the employee. If anyone asks what you’re doing, say you are looking for the representative.
  
• Once met, you will be escorted down to Immigration in the lift where you show all your printed papers and your passport. You will then be directed to the fast-track queue.
  
• Once you have left Immigration and collected your bags, please ask any airport official to point out the next representative, who will lead you to a fast-track queue for Customs. On less busy days, this part of the service may not be necessary.
  
• We suggest you do not use a baggage trolley because as soon as you exit Customs and enter the main airport concourse, there is a barrier that stops you taking a trolley through.
  
• Our representative will be waiting outside the airport building and will guide you to the vehicle that will transfer you to the hotel. The journey is about 35 mins.
  
• In the event you have difficulty finding the representative, there is a Hermitage Bay stand just across the access road directly opposite the main airport building.
