The Caribbean offers so much when it comes to luxury resorts, and each island has its own personality. We'd like to start by presenting some of our favorite properties that should tick all of the boxes. These are located in St. Lucia, Dominican Republic, Antigua, and Anguilla. Anguilla may be small, but it's home to a number of incredible resorts and pristine beaches. The island of St. Maarten is close by, and here you will find some better international flight connections when traveling from the US. It makes for the perfect winter escape!

By the end of November hurricane season should be well and truly over, and you can expect blue skies with minimal chance of rain. It definitely cools down in the evening, so you should pack accordingly.

- A passport valid beyond your departure date and return and onward tickets are required for all visitors to Anguilla.
- Holders of US Green Cards, British Visas, American Visas or Canadian Visas, are not required to apply for a visa for entry into Anguilla. Visitors must have a valid passport from their country of scenset. However, all documents must be valid.
- US passport holders do not need a visa to visit Anguilla.

Head to the airport for your flight to Saint Martin where your tropical getaway awaits.

- Upon arrival at Princess Juliana International Airport, after completing the Immigration process, collect your luggage and exit into the Arrival Hall.
- A representative will be outside of the Arrival Hall to meet and greet you and may be easily identified by the “Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club” sign.
- The agent will assist with your luggage and transportation to the dock. At the dock, a boat agent will collect your passport to register your details for your boat transfer. Prior to boarding, you will need to be cleared by an Immigration officer at the dock.
- Once you have arrived in Anguilla, you will proceed to the Immigration & Customs departments. Once processed, you will exit to the Arrival Hall.
- A greeter will be awaiting you and will be displaying an “Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club” sign. You will be escorted to your pre-arranged private ground transfer.
Note: The cost for your roundtrip transfers will be payable directly to the resort.

Why we love it for you: A resort that gets consistently excellent feedback, this location is the perfect family getaway. The resort is spread out over two bays, and so even when the resort is fully booked, it never feels too crowded. Relax on the beach, or indulge in some of the many activities offered by the hotel.
