These jagged mountains are a base for travelers seeking both thrills and peace. Spend one day mountaineering or skiing and the next bathing in the healing waters of natural hot springs. As you’re enjoying a plate of the fusion cuisine, know that all of the ingredients were likely gathered within walking distance of your table.
