In Greece over the month of July expect daily high temperatures of around 86°F/30°C, rarely falling below 75°F/24°C or exceeding 95°F/35°C, and with low temperatures rarely falling below 66°F/19°C or exceeding 78°F/26°C.

US passport holders are allowed to fly into Greece for Business or Tourism without visa requirements.

Uber works in Greece, as does Bolt.

There is also iMove, although Uber and Bolt are more popular.

Your hotel can also help you order a taxi.

Almost everywhere accepts card payments (a Revolut card is an amazing way to keep local currency on you with a card payment to avoid transaction fees), but it's important to always have some cash money on you when traveling to Greece and the Greek Islands as you might encounter a few studios or small shops in less-touristic islands that don't accept card.

It's also handy for buying honey and fruits on the side of the road (which are delicious)!

You can use your cash cards or credit card on all ATM machines in Greece. The largest Greek islands have many banks and ATM, while some remote islands may have only one ATM. Always have some cash with you if you travel in some remote islands as even if there is one single ATM, it might be out of money.

• BAO’s is one of several bars lining the waterfront in Mykonos's most attractive quarter, Little Venice, BAO's advantage is an unobstructed view right across the sea. With the famous windmills to your left, and the outlines of the houses built out into the water on stilts, it's a prime spot for a sundowner.
  
• Galleraki, just along the waterfront from BAO’s, has a terrace on the first floor to double your chances of getting a good view.
  
• Lola, one of the island's many LGBTQ+ friendly establishments, caters to a mixed crowd with its cocktails and House music!
  
• Jackie O' is located right by the waterfront round the corner from the Old Port. It's one of the best gay bars and clubs in town but appeals to a mixed crowd. Inside, it looks as if it's been – stylishly – carved out of a cave, with a curvy whitewashed stone bar and sinuous seating - expect good music and a good time!
  
• Queen of Mykonos is a stylish, lower-key place for luxurious drinks and to be seen. The vibe is chilled but you can still dance with their occasional DJ sets.

Paros has some beautiful little villages you may enjoy exploring, these are:

• Lefkes Village is a small village hidden between the mountains. It is the former capital of Paros, full of white houses, narrow pebble streets, Venetian architecture and a Byzantine church dating back to the 15th century
  
• Marpissa Village is a traditional Byzantine settlement with narrow streets, small churches and jasmine aromas. It is worth visiting the small folklore museum, the Ai-Nikolas square and St. Savior chapel
  
• Naoussa is the village built amphitheatrically at the second biggest bay of Paros. Full of picturesque alleys and the Venetian castle on the beach which is illuminated at night, it is the entertainment hub of Paros with some of the best restaurants and clubs on the island
  
• Parikia is the capital village of the island, hosting one of the most important churches of the Virgin Mary in Greece: Panagia Ekatondapiliani. It is a Byzantine Church, built 4 centuries ago, and its name literally means a “Church with 100 doors” and is one of the most important preserved churches of Greece! Also, worth seeing is the Byzantine Museum, The Archaeological Museum, The Ancient Cemetery and its tombs from the 8th century B.C.

Paros has a hiking trail network of approximately 35 km. Hikers will encounter traditional houses, stone farms, windmills and watermills, cisterns and pigeon houses. Some are organized and well-marked, others are old and exciting, while some are ideal for adventure lovers. We especially recommend the “Byzantine trail” from Lefkes to Prodromos and the path from Paros Park to the lighthouse in Cape Korakas, especially before the sunset!
